While influencing George W. Bush’s presidency, Dick Cheney was able to squeeze in some exemptions in Clean Air and Clean Water Acts for energy producing companies. This means that energy exploiting corporations do not have to minimize the pollution they emit to federal standards. Not to mention, Rumsfeld’s friendship with Monsanto helped the corporation create mass ecological damage. Yes, in this adventure, Dick and Donnie actually try to save the planet from all the ways they’ve been destroying it.
